PREMIER THEATRE COMPANY'S VIRTUAL "RENT" AUDITIONS An incredible amount of talent from all walks of life has expressed interest in being cast in the musical RENT. We wish to offer you the opportunity to audition for PREMIER Theatre's RENT from wherever you are. Please review the audition details below and consider submitting. This is the only audition option being held for RENT as to expand outreach. We look forward to your submissions. Virtual Audition Deadline: Friday June 19, 2009 – 11:30pm Audition Call-Backs: IN PERSON

| Roger: Caucasian
man, 20s - early 30s. Leader of a rock band. Able to project raw pain
with charisma. Playing guitar a plus. Strong tenor. Rock n' roll
grunge voice, like Eddie Vedder or Kurt Cobain. Mark: Caucasian man, 20s - early 30s. Under-funded underground filmmaker; has turned his back on his affluent upbringing. Likable, if occasionally high-strung, he is almost the narrator of the show. Baritone/second tenor. Collins: African American man, mid 20s -
mid 30s. Philosopher, teacher, anarchist, AIDS activist. Sings a HUGE,
emotional gospel-style ballad. Low baritone; bluesy, gravelly voice. Mark's mom, Roger's mom, Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson, Mr. Grey, Alexi Darling, Steve, Paul, a Christmas caroler, a woman with bags, a pastor, man with squeegee, a cop, a waiter, and others. |
